Announcement - May 22, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Bethlehem Fair.

After much discussion and consideration, the Board of Directors has made this incredibly difficult decision as a result of the current global pandemic, COVID-19.  As always, our top priority is the safety of our patrons, exhibitors, volunteers, and vendors.  With the situation rapidly evolving, none of us know what regulations will be in place this September.  The Bethlehem Fair takes many months of planning, not only for our volunteers, but also for our exhibitors and vendors.  Out of consideration for their time and efforts, we feel that making this decision now is in the best interest of everyone involved.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at Office@BethlehemFair.com.

Thank you to our loyal volunteers, vendors, advertisers, and patrons for your continued support of the Bethlehem Fair.  We wish you all the best during these challenging times.  We look forward to seeing you in 2021, when we will return bigger and better than ever.

As we're sure you're aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed almost every aspect of our daily lives.  The Bethlehem Fair Board of Directors has been closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation and staying up-to-date with Executive Orders and updates from Governor Lamont.
The Bethlehem Fair is scheduled for September 11, 12, and 13, 2020.  At this time, we believe that making a decision regarding the possible cancellation of the 2020 Bethlehem Fair would be premature.  The Board of Directors will continue to monitor the situation, and we will be sure to update via Facebook and BethlehemFair.com once a decision is reached.  We will be considering the restrictions and guidelines put in place by our government officials as well as the recommendations of the Association of Connecticut Fairs.  As always, our top priority is the safety of our patrons, volunteers, and vendors.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of the Bethlehem Fair.

ATTENTION
The fairgrounds are being used on Fridays by the Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) and the National Guard as a distribution site for PPE for Healthcare institutions and public health departments located in Region 5.  Region 5 covers 43 towns of which Bethlehem is central.  If you see tents set up and increased activity, rest assured that this is the only activity taking place, and there is not a testing center located here.  Please note, this is not for public access — it is only for Healthcare institutions and local public health departments.  Thank you for continuing to keep our community safe and healthy!

The Fair office will only be open on a limited basis, with no public access at this time.  The best way to contact us is via email; all critical email and phone messages will be answered, but it may take longer than normal for responses.

Thanks to all of the volunteers, exhibitors, vendors, and everyone else who worked to make our fair successful.
